Your guide for life in East Greenwich for Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday …
Cemetery cleanup: Our historic cemetery watchdog Alan Clarke (a member of the RI Advisory Commission on Historic Cemeteries) says the first scheduled cleanup of the fall takes place Saturday at 9 a.m. at the cemeteries on the right along Cedar Avenue just west of Middle Road. Alan is looking for people to adopt a cemetery this season – there are at least 60 historic cemeteries in need of care.
Art at the Armory Preview: Preview an exhibition of selected artworks from the collections of the Varnum Armory and the James Mitchell House museums. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine, music, and – of course – art. $50 per person. The proceeds will go to helping preserve the Varnum Museum collections for generations to come. At 5 p.m.

He will be on Rocky Hill to speak to the community as part of the school's Homecoming festivities, from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
Gold’s Open House: Workout for free all day at Gold’s Gym, 1000 Division St. You can try all the group classes, have a light breakfast, and visit vendor tables for service and product samples from 9 a.m. to noon. This happens only once every quarter.
