Which RI Beaches Are Closing For Thursday?
Another Larkin Pond beach is being closed due to high bacteria counts. Goddard Park also is staying closed for swimming.
EAST GREENWICH, RI — Another Larkin Pond beach is being closed due to high bacteria counts, the state health department said Wednesday. The beach at Larkin Pond Campground is off limits for swimming, due to high bacteria counts. Kingston’s Camp and Camp Hoffman were closed earlier and will stay closed.
In Warwick, Goddard Park and the Kent County YMCA (Upper and Lower Ponds) also are staying closed for swimming. Echo Lake Campground in Glocester also has been closed for swimming.
