CVS Opens Coronavirus Vaccination Site In Johnston

The location began administering vaccines to eligible residents on Sunday.

JOHNSTON, RI — CVS Health has opened a COVID-19 vaccination site in Johnston as of Sunday, Feb. 7, according to the company's website.

The vaccination site, located at 26 Putnam Pike, has started administering vaccines to eligible residents age 75 or older in accordance with Phase One of the state's distribution plan.

Other CVS Pharmacy vaccination sites in Rhode Island will be located in East Greenwich, Woonsocket, Warren, and Westerly, which will be available for booking starting Tuesday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Feb. 1o. A vaccination site at 799 Hope Street in Providence is also available for immediate booking.

Individuals who wish to get vaccinated will be required to meet state criteria and must register in advance through the pharmacy.
