JOHNSTON, RI — Market Basket is now hiring employees to work at its new location in Johnston.
The store has not yet announced an official opening date, but will be located at 1300 Hartford Avenue across from Johnston Senior Center.
“Be part of the first team at our new Market Basket location in Johnston, R.I.!” says an add on the store's website. “To apply for the Johnston, RI Market Basket part-time position(s), please either download the application form and email us the completed form, or, email your contact information to Market Basket Rhode Island Hiring Team.”

The company is currently hiring for positions in various departments, including Front-End, Grocery, Dairy, Produce, Deli, Seafood, Meat, Market's Kitchen & Café, and Bakery.
The store in Johnston will be the second Market Basket location in Rhode Island. The first Market Basket in the state opened in Warwick earlier this year.
