An early-morning downed tree cut power to approximately 64 Johnston residents.
JOHNSTON, RI — A fallen tree cut power to dozens of Johnston residents early Monday morning. Crews were called in to make emergency repairs, restoring power to everyone affected before 10 a.m.
The tree fell on Pine Hill Avenue around 3:40 a.m., hitting a pole and pulling down electrical wires, National Grid said. Approximately 64 people lost power for several hours.
Emergency crews were called in to make repairs, restoring power to everyone who was affected by 9:40 a.m.
