Johnston Man Accused Of Child Molestation
Herber Huayta is facing four counts of first-degree child molestation and two count of second-degree child molestation.
JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston man has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury on child molestation charges, said Attorney General Peter F. Neronha in a news release Tuesday.
Herber Huayta, 43, is facing four counts of first-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree child molestation, said Neronha.
Prosecutors say the charges against Huayta stem from alleged acts that occurred in Cranston on various dates between January 1, 2006 and April 25, 2010. The investigation was conducted by the Cranston Police Department.

Huayta is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7 in Providence County Superior Court.
