Johnston Police ID Victim Of Christmas Eve Crash
A Johnston resident died at the hospital on Christmas morning following a serious crash on Plainfield Pike at Peck Hill Road.
JOHNSTON, RI — Johnston police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on Christmas Eve. Lisa Marshall, 57, was a Johnston resident, police said.
The crash happened at the intersection of Plainfield Pike and Peck Hill Road around 9:30 p.m. Marshall was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews. She was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she died on Christmas morning.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, police said.
