Johnston's Stephen Elias Joins People's Credit Union
Elias brings more than 20 years of financial experience to his new job as indirect lending manager.
Stephen Elias of Johnston has a new job.
Elias, who has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, has joined Middletown, R.I.-based People’s Credit Union.
In his new job, Elias will serve as indirect lending manager and is responsible for helping the credit union meet its loan goals along with handling dealer and merchant relations.

Elias brings over 20 years of financial services experience to People’s Credit Union. Previously, he was employed with Citizens Automobile Finance as an Assistant Regional Credit Manager, where he analyzed consumer credit reports to evaluate risk and handled the decision making for Indirect Lending applications. Elias has a strong background in managing credit underwriting and adhering to compliance standards while building relationships with automobile dealerships.
