Mary A. (Macari) Riccio, 91, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Mary A. (Macari) Riccio, 91, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Riccio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Federico and Virginia (Gamba) Macari. Mary was in retail sales for the former Filene’s Department Store, Warwick for ten years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Rocco Church and a member of the Ladies Guild.
Mary is survived by her loving sons, Alfred J. Riccio and his wife Deborah and Stephen A. Riccio and his wife Michele all of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of John Riccio, David Riccio, Maryanne Webster, Laura C. McNamara, Stephanie M. Welsh, and the great-grandmother of Julia, Jake, and Mia. Mary was the devoted sister of Gino Macari of Warwick, and the late Olindo, Edo, and Pasco Macari.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
