Obituary: Michael N. Marro, 82

Michael N. Marro, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Morgan Health Center in Johnston. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael J. and Cecile (Blanchette) Marro. Michael worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed many sports, especially fishing. He loved cooking, mushrooming, and listening to jazz. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie D. Marro and her husband, Edward Dyke, and Michelle M. Marro; six grandchildren; Erica, Chase, Chelsey, Dean, Anthony, Sarah-Rose; six great grandchildren, Makayla, Maddox, Landon, Riley, Reagan, and Michael; son-in-law, Dexter Faile. He was father of the late Michael Angelo Marro and Lesa Faile; brother of the late Norman Marro.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Ste. 3004, Warwick, RI 02886, will be appreciated.
