Report: Johnston Council Member Ships Kids to Narragansett School
Jim Hummel of the Hummel Report revealed Thursday that a Town Council member has been sending her children to school somewhere else.

JOHNSTON, RI—An investigation by investigative reporter Jim Hummel has revealed a Johnston Town Council member has been sending her children to school in Narragansett.
The report, released on Friday, also showed that Manzi has been claiming a homestead tax exemption in Johnston, which saved her and her husband more than $1,500 in taxes. At the same time, Manzi has been a supporter of town efforts to curb abuse of the system.
Manzi told Hummel that her children stay with her husband in a cottage they rent in Narragansett and that is the address they used to register their children at Narragansett schools.
