Sell Drugz? But Maybe Not To an Undercover Cop

Rapper Montana Millz and a female accomplice were the target of a month long undercover investigation. Both suspects are from Johnston.

JOHNSTON, RI – Johnston's Michael Persaud, who performs as the rapper Montana Millz, was arrested in Pennsylvania on Friday. According to Sgt. Michael Dipalo, he was the target of a month-long undercover investigation.

Persaud, 29, is known for the song, "Sell Drugz." The Lebanon, Penn.'s District Attorney's office says he and a female accomplice, also from Johnston, allegedly sold 70 pounds of cocaine to an undercover detective.

He was charged with nine counts, including delivery, possession, and possession with intent to deliver heroin, criminal conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility.

Tiffany Victoria Irizarry, 28, was charged with seven counts of heroin possession, possession with intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police allege on Oct. 28 he sold 70 bags of heroin to an undercover officer in the Days Inn parking lot in Lebanon. He was paid $300.

After taking the couple into custody, police obtained a search warrant for their hotel room and allege they found uncut heroin with a street value worth $11,500.

Both suspects are being held in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility. Bail was set at $100,000.
