State Police Arrest Johnston Man On 4 Outstanding Warrants
State Police said Joseph Bautista, 37, had warrants originating out of Cranston, Warwick and the Scituate Barracks.

JOHNSTON, RI — State Police arrested a Johnston man wanted on four outstanding warrants out of two different towns and the Scituate Barracks on Sunday. State Police said troopers made the arrest of Joseph Bautista, 37, while responding to Bautista's Atwood Avenue residence Sunday morning.
State Police said Bautista was detained on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court for arraignment on a charge of driving with a suspended license out of the Scituate Barracks, a warrant on a violation on a charge of possession of a Schedule I-IV drug out of Cranston, a warrant on a violation of a charge of duty to stop due to accident damage out of Warwick and a warrant on a charge of duty to stop for an accident out of Warwick.
Police said Bautista was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute — Men's Intake.
