State Police Arrest Johnston Men On Warrant, Pot Charge
State Police said both arrests were made during vehicle stops this past weekend.

JOHNSTON, RI — Two Johnston men were among those State Police arrested during vehicle stops this weekend. Ryan Santos Encarnacion, 30, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Gerard Disanto, 42, was charged with during under the influence of liquor or drugs, and marijuana possession.
At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning Encarnacion was arrested on a Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court for a cost review on the charge of manufacturing, distribution and drug possession from the Providence Police Department. State Police made the arrest at a vehicle stop on Route 146 in Lincoln. Encarnacion was processed and turned over the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
On Saturday night, State Police said they pulled over Disanto on Route 95 in Warwick. He was charged with driving under the influence, refusing a chemical test and possession of more than one ounce of marijuana. Disanto was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned and released.
