State Police ID Driver Killed In Thursday's Highway Accident
A 45-year-old Cranston woman died, state police said.
JOHNSTON, RI — State police have identified the 45-year-old Cranston woman who died Thursday in a crash in Johnston. She is Kimberly D. Oliveira. Troopers are continuing to investigate the accident, according to Laura Meade Kirk, state police spokeswoman.
State police were called around 8:45 a.m. Thursday. The caller reported s car in the woods off Route 6 near the Atwood Avenue exit in Johnston. The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
