State Police: Johnston Man Facing Cocaine, Fentanyl Charges

State Police said Jeffrey Woodrops, 29, was charged with possession with intent to deliver the drugs.

JOHNSTON, RI — State Police said a High Intensity Drug Task Force and Violent Fugitive Tack force investigation led to cocaine and fentanyl charges against a Johnston man on Friday. State Police said Jeffrey Woodrops, 29, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and controlled substance conspiracy.

State Police said a narcotics investigation led to search warrants that uncovered the drugs.

Woodrops was held without bail after arraignment in Sixth District Court.
