JOHNSTON, RI — State State Rep. Ramon Perez asked the state Board of Elections for an official recount reviewing last Wednesday's primary election results.
Unofficial results show Perez lost the District 13 state representative Democratic primary in Johnston and Providence to challenger Mario Mendez by 74 votes.
