Dogs Displaced by Hurricane Michael Coming To Middletown

The dogs were in shelters before Michael hit. They were sent to Middletown to make space for pets from families displaced by the hurricane.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — Dogs displaced by Hurricane Michael will soon have new homes in Rhode Island.

The Potter League for Animals announced it will shelter about 10 new dogs, coming in Tuesday afternoon.

The dogs were in shelters before Michael hit. They were moved to make space for animals from families displaced by the hurricane.

The dogs will be quarantined for the next five days. They will then be vaccinated, as well as spayed or neutered before being put up for adoption in about a week.
