Potter League In Middletown Takes In Animals From El Paso
The shelter accepted five dogs and four kittens that will be up for adoption in a few days.
MIDDLETOWN, RI — Potter League for Animals in Middletown accepted nine animals from El Paso Friday night as part of an effort to clear out a shelter, reported WPRI.
El Paso Animal Services sent out an SOS (Support Our Shelter) last month, asking for help to find a new place for the animals in their custody. The Bissell Pet Foundation responded by transporting and housing over 700 animals.
Potter League has accepted five dogs and four kittens that will be in "transport isolation" for a few days to get medical examinations.

Anyone who is interested in adopting can submit an application here and will eventually be able to visit the animals in person.
