Former Benny's In Middletown Opens As Mass Vaccination Site
The site is up and running for vaccine appointments as of Wednesday.
MIDDLETOWN, RI — Rhode Island's third mass vaccination site opened Wednesday at the former Benny's department store in Middletown.
The vaccination site, located at 1400 West Main Road, is currently offering the two-dose Pfizer and one-dose Janssen vaccines.
The clinic is open for people age 65 and older who live, work, or attend school in Rhode Island or were invited to be vaccinated during Phase 1 of vaccine distribution.

Although vaccine appointments at the Middletown mass vaccination site were fully booked for Wednesday, future appointments can be made here. Additional times are made available starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and after 5 p.m. on Fridays as more supply is received.
The state's fourth mass vaccination site is set to open at a later date at the former Sears department store on Diamond Hill Road in Woonsocket.
