Independent Insurance Agents of R.I. Recognizes OceanPoint Insurance Employees

Four commercial account managers successfully attained a number of designations.

OceanPoint Insurance has announced that commercial account managers Lisa Merola, Ana Aguiar, Gwen Chamberlin and Christina Mohr were recognized by the Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island (IIARI) at its annual awards luncheon.

OceanPoint Insurance agents successfully attained numerous designations. Merola, Aguiar, Chamberlin and Mohr completed all continuing education requirements to receive the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. This program features a specialized curriculum focusing on the insurance and risk management needs of construction projects and contractors. This designation ensures that agents understand the most important insurance needs of contractors and possess an experienced knowledge of construction exposures, insurance and risk management techniques.

In addition to achieving the CRIS designation, Christina Mohr also achieved the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation. Mohr earned the ACSR designation after completing the required coursework and examinations on various key insurance topics in the areas of personal lines, commercial lines and life and health.
