The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency reported 121,696 were without power as of 5:32 p.m. Tuesday. Many of the outages were in western, central and southeastern Massachusetts.

Isaias lashed the mid-Atlantic with tropical storm-force winds and several inches of rain Tuesday before it moved up the East Coast, where winds tore the roof off a hospital in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and prompted officials in New York City to urge people to stay indoors as debris flew down streets.
