Miantomi Avenue In Middletown Closed For Repairs On Thursday

MIDDLETOWN, RI — A portion of Miantonomi Avenue will be closed on Thursday for repairs from damage sustained from recent storms.

The road will be closed between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Travelers in the area are advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays.

Roads in the area have undergone debris removal and repairs since strong storms moved through the area last week and knocked out power to more than 5,000 residents in the southern part of the state.
