MIDDLETOWN, RI — Middletown beachgoers are reminded that while they are welcomed to socially distance at town beaches, their four-legged best friends are not after the early morning.
Beachgoers are reminded that dogs are not allowed on town beaches after 7:45 a.m. That goes for whether they are leashed or unleashed.
Middletown announced late last month that it has instituted new parking restrictions aimed at reducing the number of people at the beach amid the coronavirus crisis. Town officials said that until further notice beach parking will be restricted to only residents and non-residents with season passes until 6 p.m. daily.
