MIddletown To Collect Downed Tree Branches, Limbs From Wind Storm
Residents are permitted to leave debris two inches, or greater, in diameter for curbside pickup on Feb. 21.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — The Middletown Department of Public of Works will collect downed tree limbs and branches that have following in right-of-ways and town residences on Feb. 21 following Friday's damaging wind storm. Residents are permitted to bring tree limbs and their properties to three feet off the edge of the road for town collection.
Middletown officials said DPW employees will not enter private property to remove debris. Properties with cleanup that requires mechanical means should contract a professional for cleanup.
Branches and limbs two inches are larger in diameter will be picked up. Smaller limbs and branches should be held separately for yard waste collection as part of the Pay-As-You-Throw program, or some other disposal program.

DPW workers will picks up debris from rights-of-way, but if anything is missed residents are asked to use the "Help?" button on the town's website or by calling the Department of Public Works at 401-846-2119. Emails can also be sent to MiddletownHelps@middletownri.com.
