Middletown Man Charged With Drug Possession, Resisting Arrest
State Police said the narcotics division charged Christopher Toppa, 47, after executing a search warrant on Sunday.

MIDDLETOWN, RI – State Police charged a Middletown man with drug possession with intent to sell and resisting arrest on Friday. State Police said Christopher Toppa, 47, was ordered held without bail.
Toppa was charged with possession of marijuana in excess of five kilograms, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and resisting arrest. State Police said the arrest was the result of an execution of a court-authorized search warrant on behalf of the narcotics division.
Toppa was processed at the Wickford Woods Barracks and arraigned in Second District Court.
