Middletown Public Library Expands Hours In Phase 3
The Middletown Public Library has expanded its hours for in-person services as of July 1.
MIDDLETOWN, RI — Middletown Public Library has expanded its in-person services as part of phase 3 of the state's reopening.
As of Wednesday, the library is accessible to the public by appointment Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Public computer access is offered during Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

No more than five people can use the public computers or enter for circulation transactions at any one time. Masks and health screening are required for entry. Employees are self-screened and members of the public must attest to being free of symptoms.
All browsing is contactless. Staff-assisted circulation and self checkout is available.

Computer access is limited to one hour per appointment.
Children's department access is not available at this time and there is no seating for quiet study, research, reading or meetings.
All due dates on current loans have been extended to July 8 and no fines will be charged for any loans from March 1 to July 8.
