Middletown School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

MIDDLETOWN, RI— The first day of school in Middletown is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Middletown School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/12: No School (Statewide Primaries and Professional Development Day)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/2: Classes Resume
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/8: High School Graduation
• 6/19: Last Day of School
• 6/20 - 6/26: Make-Up Days
