Nearly 900 In Middletown Without Power Due To High Winds Friday
High winds knocked out power to hundreds of Middletown residents Friday night.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — Middletown town officials reported a power outage near Wolcott Road had left nearly 900 residents in the dark Friday night. With winds hitting more than 70 miles per hour in southern and coastal New England, outages were widespread.
Police said to call 911 in any emergency and to contact Natioal Grid at 1-800-465-1212. Officials also said to steer clear of any downed power lines when traveling Friday night.
