Potter League To Participate In 'Clear The Shelters' Event

The adoption fees are reduced by 25-50 percent on Aug. 18.

From Potter League For Animals: Potter League for Animals today announced it is participatingNBC 10 WJAR’s first ever Clear the Shelters™ pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 18. On this day, the Potter League will offer half priced adoption fees for adult dogs and cats and puppies and kittens adoption fees will be 25% off to help local families adopt a new pet. Since 2015, NBC and Telemundo stations’ nationwide Clear the Shelters™ campaign has resulted in more than 150,000 pet adoptions.

“Our goal is for all the animals in the shelter to wake up Sunday morning in a home. Thanks to our great staff, volunteers, and support from our community and Hills Pet Nutrition, we think it can happen.” Brad Shear, Executive Director, Potter League for Animals.

WHAT: Potter League for Animals to participate as an official Clear the Shelters™ partner with NBC 10 WJAR. On Saturday, August 18 Potter League for Animals will reduce pet adoption fees to help families adopt a new pet.
