Santa’s visit is thanks to the hard work of the Middletown Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 1933, whose members worked under ’Ole St. Nick’s guidance with help from some elves all weekend.
His sleigh is ready to go, the fire department reports.
The tradition began in Middletown in 2007. Children anxiously wait for Santa to cruise by on his sleigh as he hands out candy canes. According to reports, Santa also plans his strategy for Christmas Eve while making the rounds.
Santa is a busy man, so we’ll do our best to post updates for additional nights touring town. It’s a smart idea to check the town’s website for updates: http://www.middletownri.com/
