Drop-In Tech Talks: Have any questions about technology that you've always wanted to ask, but never could? Meet with a Reference Librarian and we will try to answer all your questions. Peer Tutoring: High school honor students tutor in Spanish, French, Science, History and English/Language Arts. For grades 6-9, Monday, April 17th @ 7:00 pm.

Math Tutoring: Free tutoring sessions at the library in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area. Bring textbook and/or homework. Tutoring sessions are for 30 minutes and are scheduled at 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. Upon registering, you will receive an email with your tutoring session time. Tutors are volunteer high school honors students. Tutoring for Calculus and above is not available. Tuesday, April 18th.

Handmade with Love – Knitting and Crocheting: Learn to knit or crochet, and improve your skills. We will be making baby blankets for Project Linus. The blankets will go to families in need at local hospitals. Thursday, April 20th @ 3:30 pm.

Physics Study Group: Study for tests, bring your homework, and ask any questions you may have. Work together to improve your Physics skills. Thursday, April 20th @ 4:30 pm.

Chess: If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, April 21st @ 3:30 pm.

The Stock Market Game: Learn about the Stock Market and compete to have the highest earning portfolio by the end of the month. Receive $100,000 of fake money to invest. Buy and sell stocks, do research, and earn the most money. This is a two-part workshop to celebrate National Financial Literacy Month. Friday, April 21st @ 3:30 pm.

SAT Practice Exam: conducted by The Princeton Review. Receive feedback and scores following the exam, plus one free consultation to discuss your practice exam. Saturday, April 22nd @ 9:30 am.

Lapsit Storytime for Pre-Walkers: Introduce your baby to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by a grown-up. Rhymes, songs, puppets, and picture books encourage language development. Grown-ups get to socialize with other adults. Babies get used to being around other babies. For ages up to 32 months. Monday, April 17th @ 10:00 am.

Toddler Time for Walkers: Toddlers learn by playing, moving, touching, making noise, looking at books, and being loved. Each toddler should bring a favorite grown-up to share in the fun and learning. For ages up to 30 months. Tuesday, April 18th @ 10:00 am.

Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Grown-ups can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play. A Drop-In program for all ages. Tuesday, April 18th @ 10:30 am.

Read to a Dog is a great way to improve the literacy skills of children by providing a non-judgmental listener in our furry friends. Children read to a dog for five minutes. There will be teen reading buddies for younger siblings as well as for the K-5 set to practice with prior to their “dog time”. For independent readers only, grades K-5. Wednesday, April 19th @ 4:00 pm.
