Next Chapter Book Club: The Middletown Township Public Library, along with other community resources, is partnering with the Bayshore Family Success Center in their “Transition to Adulthood” program for families that have teens and young adults with disabilities. Come to the program to learn about different community resources available to families. For more information, contact the Bayshore Family Success Center directly: familysuccess@cymca.org. BCUG PC Roundtable: discuss your PC problems with the experts in this drop-in session. Tuesday, April 25th.
Computers/Internet for Beginners: Learn the basics of a computer and how to use the internet in this two-session program. Thursday, April 27th @ 3:00 pm.
Email for Beginners: An introductory class on how to create and use email accounts. Learn how to compose new emails, create contacts, attach files, and more. Thursday, April 27th @ 7:00 pm.
Digitization Methods and MTPL Collections: Preservation Week is April 23-29. Learn about digitizing images (such as family photos) that need preservation. Other topics will include documents preserved at MTPL and future digitization projects. Websites and preservation information will be given and available throughout the week. Friday, April 28th @ 2:00 pm.

Debate Club: Learn how to debate using the National Forensics League debate topics each month. Debate for either the Pro or Con Argument. Improve your public speaking, writing, and researching skills. Monday, April 24th @ 3:30 pm.
Peer Tutoring: High school honor students tutor in Spanish, French, Science, History and English/Language Arts. For grades 6-9, Monday, April 24th @ 7:00 pm.
Math Tutoring: Free tutoring sessions at the library in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area. Bring textbook and/or homework. Tutoring sessions are for 30 minutes and are scheduled at 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. Upon registering, you will receive an email with your tutoring session time. Tutors are volunteer high school honors students. Tutoring for Calculus and above is not available. Tuesday, April 25th.
College Financial Planning Workshop: The College Funding Associates will be offering a free workshop on financial planning for college open to parents and high school students. Tuesday, April 25th @ 7:00 pm.
Earth Day Library Clean Up: Work together to clean up the grounds and gardens outside the library. Celebrate Earth Day with us and receive volunteer service hours for this special community service project. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Wednesday, April 26th @ 3:30 pm.
Physics Study Group: Study for tests, bring your homework, and ask any questions you may have. Work together to improve your Physics skills. Thursday, April 27th @ 4:30 pm.
Chess: If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, April 28th @ 3:30 pm.
International Table Top Day: Celebrate by gaming with us! A variety of board games, card games, and RPG games for ages 12+ will be played in the Computer Lab. There will also be board games set up in the Children's Quiet Reading Area for drop-in play for ages 8-11. Feel free to bring a game you would like to play as well. Saturday, April 29th @ 1:00 pm.

Maker Monday: Explore, predict, tinker and make. Develop confidence, creativity, and interest in science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and learning as a whole through making. This month we will be demonstrating our NEW 3-D Printer For ages 7+. Monday, April 24th @ 3:45 pm.
Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Grown-ups can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play. A Drop-In program for all ages. Tuesday, April 25th @ 10:30 am.

Rubber Duckie Book Club Story Time: Join us for fun and stories (for members of the Rubber Duckie Book Club/1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program). Friday, April 28th @ 4:00 pm.
Reading Buddies: Children will be paired with a buddy to practice their reading skills by reading out loud. Studies show reading for about 20 minutes each day will improve children’s skills, especially if they read to someone! For ages 3-9. Saturday, April 29th @ 2:00 pm.
