Construction Projects in Newport to Impact Traffic
Three different construction projects going on in town this week.
On going construction in Newport according to the city website
- Friendship Street Sanitary Sewer Project: Construction for the new sewer main in Friendship St continues from Hope St. to Broadway. Friendship St will be closed to traffic during active construction hours.
- Water Distribution Main Improvements-2015 (Middletown) : Construction of new water main in Middletown will continue in the following streets Adelaide Ave., Sherri Lane, and Fairview Av.
- Water Distribution Main Improvements- 2014: The permanent trench restoration will be completed at the intersections of Spring St with Bowery St and Fountain St.
