The Easter Bunny Hopping Into Newport April 2

The bunny will be escorted around the city in a truck by the Newport Police Department.

NEWPORT, RI — The Easter Bunny will hop through Newport Friday afternoon, escorted by the city's police department. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the bunny will remain in the truck the entire time.

Families are asked to follow social distancing guidelines when waiting to see the bunny pass by. Because there are a lot of neighborhoods to visit, the truck will not pass through every street. As a result, some families may need to find a more central street to see the bunny pass by.

The schedule will be as follows. Times are approximate. The schedule is also available on the city's website.
