Newport County Days allow locals to visit some of the city's most popular attractions for free.
NEWPORT, RI — Looking for something fun to do this weekend? If you're a resident of Newport County, you can explore some of Newport and Bristol's most popular sites and attractions this weekend for free. A total of 19 places including the rail explorers and the historic Newport mansions will offer free or reduced admission to local residents and hospitality workers from Saturday to Monday.
To attend, simply show a proof of residency, such as a driver's license, or a proof of hospitality employment like a business card, employee ID or pay stub. Hours of admission and discounts vary by location.
