Fireworks Near Me: Newport Reschedules Display To July 5

NEWPORT, RI — Amidst a dreary, chilly 4th of July weekend, the city of Newport made the call Saturday to reschedule their fireworks display to Monday, in the hopes of better weather.
The fireworks display over Newport Harbor will be help Monday, instead of the previously-scheduled Sunday night. The display is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m.
"Have a safe and happy Fourth of July," city officials said in a statement. "We look forward to seeing you on the Fifth!"
