Happy Mother’s Day From Alex, Max and Iana Kendysch

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Alex, Max and Iana's letter to their mom:

I'm very excited to write about my mom. Mother's Day coincides with her birthday this year. My name is Alex. I am the oldest sibling in the family. I'm 12 years old. My younger siblings are 9 and 8 years old.
My sweet mom takes care of us every day. She works at Newport Public Schools as a teacher’s assistant. She is very smart, and accepted the job of teacher’s assistant to be on the same schedule as me and my siblings.

My mom puts every penny of her tax refund into our martial arts, swim, violin, dance and Rhody Squash activities. She always hangs out with us at playgrounds when we have time off. My mom is really amazing

Could you please honor my mom? I love her so very much.
