Heineken Is Rhode Island Men's Favorite Beer: Survey

Rhode Island men overwhelmingly prefer Heineken, according to a new survey. AskMen asked 1,000 men about their beer preferences, with the "King of Beer," Budweiser, coming in as the national winner.

Across the country, Budweiser is the beer of choice in 19 states. Coors came in second, leading the pack in nine states. Also on the map: Corona, Miller Lite, Stella Artois, Yuengling and Pabst Blue Ribbon.

58 percent of men surveyed in Rhode Island said they prefer Heineken. Along with Rhode Island, Heineken is the winning beer in both Maryland and Hawaii.

Most surprising were Idaho residents, who said that Mike's Hard Lemonade was their favorite. While Mike's isn't what most people think of as beer, it's technically a malt beverage, so it counts.
