Immediate openings are available for students in grades K - 4 at the MLK Community Center's after school program.

Childcare Solutions for Busy Families

The MLK Community Center is proud to offer quality after school programs for local families. Our caring, experienced staff work tirelessly to provide enriching social and educational opportunities for the children of Newport County. Students grades kindergarten through fourth grade are eligible.

Hours: 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Transportation from Pell by Durham Bus

Cost: $82 for a full week and is DHS accepted. Scholarships are available!

  • Enrichment activities: Make Your Life exploratory learning, choir, violin lessons
  • Activities in science,technology, engineering,math & art
  • Indoor & outdoor physical activities
