It Was Easy Being Green: Kermit Rocks Newport Folk Festival
Everyone's favorite Muppet sang "The Rainbow Connection" and other classics to help close out the weekend-long festival.

NEWPORT, RI — A sunny weekend of music at Fort Adams State Park wrapped up in the best possible way: with a surprise performance by the original Muppet himself: Kermit the Frog. Kermit was joined by Jim James of My Morning Jacket, singing "The Rainbow Connection" and "If I Had A Song."
The performance was an expected sendoff to the star-studded event, which featured powerhouses like Dolly Parton and Hozier.
