Jaime Crowley: Rogers Vice Principal & Former Thompson Principal

Crowley died after a battle with blood cancer.

NEWPORT, RI — Jaime Crowley, Rogers High vice-principal, and former Thompson School principal, died on Friday, according to the Friends of the Crowley Family Facebook post. Crowley had suffered from a type of blood cancer called Myelodysplastic syndromes. The family's hopes were pinned on a bone marrow transplant, and he did succeed in finding a donor, his brother Michael. A drive had been held for him and another school employee at the Pell Elementary School in 2016 to find a match. Crowley lived about two years after the transplant surgery. There is no word yet on funeral arrangements.
