Newport Hosting 2021 Easter Egg Hunt
The annual event, canceled last year due to the pandemic, is back for 2021.
NEWPORT, RI — After all Easter celebrations were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Newport is once again holding its annual egg hunt. The event is open to kids aged three through eight years old.
The egg hunt will be held at Bob Douglas Field at King Park on April 3. Because of coronavirus safety restrictions, preregistration is required. No walk-up attendees will be allowed to participate.
This year's hunt specially designed to allow for social distancing. All attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival, and will be required to wear a mask.
