NEWPORT, RI — Newport police are investigating after nails were found in pieces of hot dogs. A resident founds the pieces scattered on lawns while walking his dog Mondays around Thurston Avenue.

Police are looking to find who left the hot dogs on the lawns. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to reach out to Detective Patrick Walsh at 401-845-5775.
