Newport Police Log: Recent Arrests

NEWPORT, RI—Here are recent arrests. Information comes from the police.

Aug. 7

Anthony Quinonz, 38, of Newport, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism.

Justin Timothy Hazard, 32, was arrested at 3:53 a.m. near Broadway and Collins Street. He was charged with disorderly conduct.

Police arrested three juveniles at the group home at 120 Girard Avenue at 10 a.m. Their names are being withheld because they are underage. The three are charged with false fire alarm (with intent and vandalism) and with disorderly conduct.

Corey Goodwin, 29, of Moosup, Conn., was charged at 10:47 p.m. with obtaining money under false pretenses in connection with an incident that happened on Potter Street on June 28. A fraudulent check was involved, police said.
