Craig M. Whiting, Sr., 45, of Newport, was arrested after an accident at 3:44 p.m. on Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard near Kingston Avenue. He was charged with misdemeanor Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, third offense, Whiting was charged at 4:30 p.m. and released with a summons.

William Oliva, 19, of Middletown, was stopped at 7:36 p.m. on Rhode Island Avenue and Champlin Street. He was cited for Driving without a license (or with an expired license), first or second offense.

Alfred J. Bucci, 65, of North Kingstown, was cited for Open Container at 1:08 a.m. at Thames and Pelham streets.
Brandon Alexander, 19, of Newport, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. at Pier Landing Condos. He was charged with Willful Trespass. Police said he was sleeping in a storage room, and there was an active 'no trespass' order against him.
