Yet another round of snow is headed to southern New England Tuesday, bringing several more inches of snow to an already white-blanketed Rhode Island. Residents hardly had a moment to catch their breath after the last storm, which brought several inches of accumulation to the state.

As of Tuesday morning, Newport had not declared a parking ban. Residents are reminded to clear the snow from the sidewalks adjacent to their ho9me or business, to allow pedestrians to safely walk in the city.

"Newport was designed to be a walkable city and keeping clear paths for pedestrians after it snows is a responsibility that all property owners share," city officials reminded.
