Obituary: Dene J. Perkins-Harvey, 62

Dene J. Perkins-Harvey, 62, of Newport died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Village House Nursing Home of Newport, RI.

Mrs. Perkins-Harvey was born February 24, 1954 in Sacramento, CA. She is the daughter of the late Lloyd George and the late Irene Mable (Coghill) Perkins.

She worked as a comptroller for The California Highway Patrol. She was an animal lover and had a great sense of humor. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Carol Melrose and her partner Matt Valloney of Newport, RI and Ananda Badon and her husband Aaron of St. Johns Florida; four grandchildren: Chris, Symone, Gianni, and Dakoda; and one brother: Bob Perkins of Sacramento California.
