Parking Staff Needed For 2019 Newport Jazz Festival

NEWPORT, RI — In preparation for this weekend's Newport Jazz Festival, event organizers are looking to hire parking staff. All applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Linda Caldwell, the assistant operations director in charge of artist parking, said workers are needed to help park artist's cars throughout the weekend-long festival at Fort Adams State Park. six-to-eight hour shifts are available from Thursday to Sunday, with pay starting at the minimum wage.

All parking staff will receive lunch, a t-shirt, sunscreen and snacks for free.
