Photos: Farmer's Market Wednesday Draws A Crowd
The families strolled along Memorial Boulevard on Wednesday to buy fresh produce and baked goods. Roots Farm in Tiverton was there.

NEWPORT, RI — The tents and the cribs are filling up with wares at the Farmer's Market back on Wednesdays on Memorial Boulevard. Some 24 vendors will be selling produce, flowers, baked goods, and specialty items like butter. The vendors are Aquidneck Farms, Barden Family Orchard, Bomster Scallops, The Coffee Guy, Delicious!, Earth Essence Herbals, Fully Rooted Juices, June Loves English Bakery, Little River Farm, Lemons Aid, The Local Catch, Maplewood Farm, Matunuck Oyster & Vegetable Farm, Olga's Cup & Saucer, Paradise Hill Farm, Pat's Pastured, Poblano Farm, Provencal Bakery, RI Mushroom Company, Robin Hollow Farm, Roots Farm, Simmons Farm, Tallulah's Tacos, and Tricycle Ice Cream. Plus, some rotating artisans will be there periodically.
It's still early in the season, but there was plenty to buy Wednesday. The market is open on Memorial Boulevard Parkway (between Chapel Street and Edgar Court) from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 25.
